Continuous Monorail Shot Blasting

Continuous Monorail Shot Blasting Machine

Working Principle of Continuous Monorail Shot Blasting Machine

Continuous Monorail Shot Blasting Machines operate on an overhead conveyor principle where workpieces are suspended from trolley-mounted hooks that travel along a fixed overhead monorail track. Components are loaded at one end, pass continuously through the blasting chamber, and exit fully cleaned at the other end, enabling uninterrupted, high-volume inline surface preparation.

As components travel through the blast zone, high-velocity abrasive shots are projected by centrifugal blast wheels positioned at multiple angles, ensuring complete 360-degree surface coverage. The continuous rotation of the hook during transit eliminates shadow zones and delivers uniform rust removal, descaling, and surface profiling across the entire workpiece.

The spent abrasive falls to the bottom hopper, is transported by a screw conveyor and bucket elevator, cleaned through an air-wash separator to remove dust and broken media, and recycled continuously back to the blast wheels. An integrated pulse-jet dust collection system maintains a clean, safe, and regulation-compliant working environment throughout production.
