Working Principle of Wire Mesh Belt Shot Blasting Machine

Wire Mesh Belt Shot Blasting Machines are designed for continuous surface preparation of flat, thin, and delicate components such as steel plates, aluminum parts, laser-cut components, fabricated assemblies, castings, and automotive parts. Components are transported through the blasting chamber on a heavy-duty wire mesh conveyor, ensuring stable movement without overlapping.

As the workpieces pass through the blasting zone, multiple high-performance centrifugal blast wheels project steel shots from different angles to remove rust, mill scale, oxidation, welding slag, and other contaminants. The open wire mesh belt allows abrasive media to reach both the top and bottom surfaces, ensuring uniform cleaning and superior surface preparation.

The spent abrasive is collected through screw conveyors, elevated by a bucket elevator, cleaned using an air-wash separator, and continuously recycled back to the blast wheels. A high-efficiency pulse-jet dust collection system maintains a clean working environment while reducing abrasive consumption and improving operational efficiency.
